Lessons are led by Ms Darla, a Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Education graduate—an Ontario-credentialed teacher, California-credentialed teacher, and former adjunct professor at California Baptist University. Instruction focuses on age-appropriate fundamentals, positive reinforcement, and steady progress, helping each student feel successful while developing strong musical skills.

With over 35 years of experience, my philosophy centers on nurturing the unique musical talent of every student. We cultivate excellence through a balanced approach to technical mastery and artistic expression, while ensuring that the joy of music remains at the heart of every lesson at The Academy of Music.
